Who We Are

World Animal Fund is a Philippine-based non-profit organization founded in May 2024, dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of all animals — especially domesticated animals and pets.

We believe that every life matters, and that compassion toward animals reflects the best of who we are as people. Through education, rescue missions, and partnerships with local shelters, we strive to build a nation that values kindness and responsible pet ownership.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote animal welfare, prevent cruelty, and inspire responsible pet care among Filipino families and communities. We work to ensure that animals are not only protected, but that they thrive in safe, loving environments. To achieve this, we focus on several key areas: conducting rescue operations for strays and animals in distress; providing support programs including veterinary care, vaccinations, and feeding; leading public education initiatives to raise awareness about proper pet care; and engaging in policy advocacy to strengthen animal welfare laws across the Philippines. Through these efforts, we aim to create a nation where every animal is treated with compassion, respect, and care.

Our Vision

We envision a Philippines where every animal is treated with respect, care, and compassion, and where no pet suffers from neglect or abandonment. Our goal is to foster a society in which adopting a pet, providing lifelong care, vaccinating, and spaying or neutering are recognized as shared responsibilities. By promoting humane treatment and community participation, we hope to create a nation where animal welfare is valued as an essential part of human dignity and social responsibility.

What We Do

1. Rescue and Support Stray Animals
We coordinate with volunteers, shelters, and local authorities to rescue animals from dangerous or neglectful situations. Every life saved is a step toward a more compassionate Philippines.

2. Fund Veterinary Care, Feeding, and Shelter Programs
Through donations and partnerships, we provide vaccines, medical treatment, nutritious food, and safe shelter for pets and strays.

3. Educate the Public About Responsible Pet Ownership
We run workshops, school programs, and community campaigns to teach proper pet care, the importance of spaying/neutering, and humane treatment.

4. Advocate for Stronger Animal Welfare Laws
We work with lawmakers, NGOs, and communities to strengthen enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act and promote policies that protect animals from abuse and neglect.

5. Build Partnerships With Shelters, Vets, and Volunteers
Collaboration is key. By working together with local shelters, veterinary clinics, and committed volunteers, we amplify our impact and reach more animals in need.
